Summer hasn’t even started yet and we at colordruck Baiersbronn are already thinking about Christmas, because we print, finish, process, pack and deliver Advent calendars five days a week in three shifts from May to October. During this time, our employees (m/f/d) in the PACKAGING SERVICE department work flat out to ensure that all calendars are on the shelves in time for the start of sales. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology and digital processes, up to 30,000 Advent calendars can be produced daily and carefully and fully automatically filled with delicious confectionery. The high-speed pick & place system from Schubert is used here, which is perfectly suited for multi-piece products. But also outside the Advent calendar season, our PACKAGING SERVICE takes care of all work steps, from planning to production to delivery of the finished product to the retailer.
PACKAGING SERVICE – that’s what it’s all about
Our team of experts takes care of the complete fulfillment and accompanies our customers throughout the entire packaging process, from planning to production and logistics. In doing so, we offer the highest degree of flexibility. We bring products safely and in the desired configuration into the perfect position at the point of sale – for small to very large runs with flexible manual work in the PACKAGING SERVICE Manufaktur area or through our fully automated industrial execution in the PACKAGING SERVICE Automation area. Climate-neutral packaging: from production to packaging
We are all aware of the problem of climate change and it calls for entrepreneurial foresight. By using CO2-compensated packaging, you can demonstrate exemplary sustainable action and also position yourself as a future-oriented company. “Climate neutral” means that greenhouse gas emissions are precisely calculated for packaging and offset by purchasing emission certificates. This means that you can make not only the production of the packaging climate neutral, but also the mechanical packaging with our high-speed pick & place system.
