On September 1, the time had finally come: The starting signal was given for training at colordruck Baiersbronn, and we welcomed seven promising young professionals to our team. They include Simon Stoll as an industrial clerk, Moritz Mast in the field of digital and print media design, and Claudio Buttitta, who will learn the profession of media technologist for printing. Öztürk Göker is our first apprentice in the field of information technology, and we welcome Sibel Okumus, Jonas Kunze and Samuel Wurster to the profession of packaging technologist.
A six-day onboarding process ensured good integration into the company. The trainees were taken by the hand right from the start and were thus able to gain a feeling for the corporate culture as well as the internal processes. They also made direct contact with their colleagues and trainers.
The first day focused on the welcome, accompanied by a deep insight into our company. In addition to the internal tour of the company, our trainees received training on IT security, fire protection and data protection to help them understand the importance of these topics in our modern working world. As a special highlight, each of them received their own notebook, a tool that will accompany them on their way.
As part of the introductory week, the career starters were able to get to know each other better during various team-building activities on the second day at Mehliskopf, as well as already getting to know their trainers, who were also present.
One focus of our introductory week this year was also the teaching of sustainability principles and ecological responsibility. In cooperation with the BUND Regionalverband Nordschwarzwald, our trainees got involved in various charitable activities on the third day.
The week was rounded off by various trainee workshops, a tour of a customer’s plant, and a visit to the Alpirsbacher Offizin, which gave our trainees an understanding of the tradition and history of the printing process.
These diverse activities marked the successful start of our trainees on their journey at colordruck Baiersbronn.
