On September 1, we once again welcomed a group of motivated young people to our team. Six new trainees—including Chris Steidl, who is starting his training as an industrial clerk, Nico Schmuck and Melih Bülkü, who are learning the profession of packaging technologist, Edison Bujupi and Marijan Denkovski as media technologists, and Isabel Klumpp as a media designer—have decided on a professional future at colordruck Baiersbronn.

To ensure a successful start, the group was once again treated to a varied introductory week this year. After a warm welcome from our shareholders, there was a company presentation and important information on IT security, data protection, and occupational safety. A well-deserved lunch together was followed by a tour of the company.

As one of our cardboard suppliers, FOLBB, is located in the immediate vicinity, there was an opportunity on day two to take a tour of their premises. Afterwards, the trainees were given an insight into the history of printing at the Alpirsbach Offizin Museum.

There was also plenty of opportunity for learning together. An etiquette course, training on rights and obligations during training, and a first aid course with the German Red Cross provided the new trainees with valuable knowledge for the start of their careers.

As is tradition, the week ended with Sustainability Day. Together with BUND, the trainees got to work on an orchard meadow. The young professionals were also able to lend a hand on our own premises this year, creating a sandarium in our flowering meadow. In this way, they made an active contribution to nature conservation and learned how important sustainability is for colordruck Baiersbronn.

With many new impressions, exciting experiences, and a strong sense of community, our trainees are now starting their training with motivation. We wish them all a successful and exciting time!
