The annual World Cleanup Day took place last week. On this day, countries, communities and companies have the opportunity to take part in the world’s largest waste collection campaign together – the perfect opportunity to roll up your sleeves and get active for our environment!
On Saturday morning, under bright sunshine and blue skies, hard-working helpers were also welcomed in Baiersbronn. Organized by colordruck Baiersbronn, the employees and their families were given the necessary equipment – from grabbing tongs to bin bags – to get them started.
The garbage collection campaign covered the entire municipality of Baiersbronn. Divided into two groups, every corner was systematically combed through and everything that did not belong in nature was collected. Particularly noticeable: countless cigarette butts and their packaging, but also many sweets wrappers found their way into the garbage bags.
At the end of a successful morning, an impressive 14.6 kg of garbage had been collected. The campaign was a complete success and we would like to thank all the committed participants for making an important contribution to environmental protection.
