Last Friday, 12 employees were honoured for their years of service. Two were sent off into well-deserved retirement.

This year we were again able to see how long some employees have been contributing to the success of our company. The employees at the Hotel Falken in Baiersbronn were honoured for 10, 25 and 40 years of loyalty and faithfulness, which is no longer a matter of course in times of staff shortage. This makes it all the more important for us and especially for our partners Renate Bengel, Marlis Schwedes and Melanie Grebien to express their gratitude and appreciation for the trust and commitment shown by each of the jubilarians.

Managing Director Mike Günther opened the festive evening of honour by welcoming all guests. This was followed by speeches of thanks from the heads of department as well as from the head of human resources, Jürgen Kilgus, who paid tribute to those celebrating 10, 25 and 40 years of service with personal words. The following can look back on 10 eventful years:

  • Markus Thielen: Production Manager
  • Jessica Armbruster: Key Account Manager
  • Heidi Faißt- Sysala: Manual packing employee
  • Anja Gaiser: Production employee in manual assembly
  • Sonja Sauter: manual packing employee
  • Ali Göktepe: production worker gluing department
  • Sonja Velis: gluing production worker
  • Hugo Lage: Logistics employee
  • Jürgen Kilgus: Personnel manager

Andreas Koziolek was honoured for 25 years of service as a logistics employee. Two employees were honoured for 40 years of service, among them Thomas Grossmann (deputy punching shop manager) and Ekkehard Mast (working in packaging development until the end of December 2022). Mr Mast retired after 40 years of service.

In addition to the tribute by Managing Director Martin Bruttel, Michael Ruoss as 1st Deputy Mayor did not miss the opportunity to reward 40 years of service with the honorary certificate of the State of Baden-Württemberg and to present it personally. Finally, Wolfgang Maulbetsch was also allowed to take his well-deserved retirement after a total of more than 30 years. Pianist Markus Konetschny provided the musical accompaniment for the evening with melodious tunes.
