On the third day of the trainee welcome days, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Holger Weber to our company to work with the trainees on “DO’S and DONT’S” during the training period. What can the trainees expect from the company, what can the trainers expect from the trainees and what expectations do the trainees have of their training and the company. One important question that should be answered here is: How should communication take place? In order to avoid possible misunderstandings right from the start, colordruck Baiersbronn talks openly with the trainees and supports them to ensure a good start.

Topics such as small talk, communication with superiors and colleagues, proper learning and learning on the job, behaviour in case of illness, positive body language, dealing with customers, rights and duties during training, personal appearance and how to comply with rules were also covered.

The individual topics were partly worked on in small groups with subsequent presentations or role plays. Here, too, the newcomers were able to get to know each other a little better.

The purpose of the workshop was to better prepare the new trainees for what lies ahead of them and thus make it easier for them to get started in the respective departments. We are confident that we were able to help them and look forward to the feedback after the first (working) days.
