64 employees, plenty of tips, and three well-deserved spots on the podium: With the World Cup final, our internal soccer prediction contest has also come to an end.
For several weeks, everyone was on the edge of their seats, crunching the numbers, and hoping for the right result. Surprising match outcomes kept shaking up the standings time and again, dashing hopes for points that many thought were a sure thing.
A total of 64 employees signed up for our soccer prediction group. While some called it quits after just the first few matchdays, many stayed in the game until the final whistle.
In the end, three employees proved to have the best instincts for predicting goals and scores:
Christian Denker – 1st place
Chris Steidl – 2nd place
Christoph Müller – 3rd place
As a reward, the top three finishers received regional gift certificates, which have since been presented to them in person.
We warmly congratulate our prediction champions and thank everyone who participated, cheered along, and kept making predictions right up to the end. After all, once the World Cup is over, it’s time for the next prediction round!
