With temperatures exceeding 35 degrees—making it the hottest day of the year so far—colordruck Baiersbronn’s employee summer party last Friday was all about camaraderie, enjoyment, and a great atmosphere.
An evening to chat and unwind
After a busy day at work, the summer party provided an opportunity to wind down together at the end of the day and catch up outside the context of everyday work. Colleagues from a wide variety of departments came together to spend a relaxed evening with one another in the summery weather.
The Waldachtalhotel took care of the catering, treating the employees to a varied barbecue buffet. In keeping with the summery weather, the cocktail cart from easycocktails provided a welcome refreshment and rounded out the culinary offerings.
Entertainment for Every Taste
There was plenty to enjoy beyond the buffet as well. Whether playing on the basketball arcade machine, challenging colleagues at table football or capturing memories in the Blackforest Fotobox, there was something for everyone. A DJ provided the soundtrack for the evening, creating a lively atmosphere well into the night.
Once again, the summer party offered an excellent opportunity for colleagues from different departments to connect, strengthen existing relationships and meet new faces. Events like these are an important part of our corporate culture and help reinforce the strong team spirit across the company.

Celebrating together – with sustainability in mind
As in previous years, this year’s employee summer party was once again organised as a Green Event BW. This initiative recognises events that are planned and carried out according to a range of sustainability criteria, covering everything from procurement and waste management to catering.
These principles were consistently put into practice throughout the event. For example, porcelain tableware and reusable metal cutlery were used instead of disposable products. Leftover food was packed into takeaway containers for employees rather than being discarded, helping to reduce food waste. In addition, regional service providers were deliberately selected wherever possible.
The summer party not only brought people together for an enjoyable evening but also demonstrated that memorable events and responsible, sustainable practices go hand in hand.
A special thank you once again goes to everyone involved and to our regional partners for helping make the event such a success. This year’s employee summer party once again showed that team spirit, appreciation and responsible action are a perfect match.
