During a joint game of curling in Baiersbronn, it once again became clear how important self-organized after-work activities are at colordruck Baiersbronn.

Whether it’s volleyball in the summer, bowling evenings, bike tours, or winter activities – many of our after-work formats are initiated by our employees. With great personal commitment, they coordinate dates, form teams, and plan activities.

This voluntary togetherness creates space for exchange outside of production and administration. Colleagues from different departments come together in a new setting. This fosters mutual understanding and strengthens collaboration in everyday work. Especially in a packaging printing company, where many processes are interconnected, a well-functioning team is a key success factor.

Curling as a winter after-work activity

On February 25, 2026, 16 employees met at the Baiersbronn ice rink for a joint game of curling. The games were played on two lanes in a round-robin format.

In addition to technique, strategy, finesse, and team coordination were especially important. After an exciting preliminary round, the rankings were determined: the two top teams competed in the final for the day’s victory, while third place was decided in a parallel match.

The winning team consisted of Max Finkbeiner (Workshop), Andreas Haas (Accounting), Jonas Muth (HR), and Manfred Würth (Logistics).

Initiatives like this highlight how deeply the team spirit is rooted at colordruck Baiersbronn – not only in everyday work, but beyond as well.
