In addition to being processed into wood chips for heat generation at the company, our disposable pallets found a very special new use this time: they became the starting point for a creative school project.

Some surplus disposable pallets were collected from our site in Baiersbronn by the Heinrich Schickhardt School in Freudenstadt, dried, and then processed in the woodworking department. Pupils from the Eichenäcker School in Dornstetten, a special education and counseling center focusing on mental development, demonstrated their creativity and craftsmanship.
With great dedication, they sawed, sanded, drilled, and glued. Finally, bold colors gave the pieces their special character. Step by step, an impressive doll cabinet with many individual marionettes was created.

Some of the figures were presented to teachers as farewell gifts, while others were given to the participating students to take home as a memento of the joint project.

The project impressively demonstrates how leftover materials can be turned into something sustainable, creative, and unifying. We are delighted to have been able to support this special collaborative project.
