Last Friday, 24.01.2025, colordruck Baiersbronn held this year’s employee awards and farewell ceremony at the Hotel Sonne Röt. In a festive setting, long-standing employees were honored and colleagues were given a festive send-off into retirement.
The presence of the three partners, Ms. Renate Bengel, Ms. Melanie Grebien and Ms. Marlis Schwedes, who showed their special appreciation by attending the event, was particularly pleasing. Also warmly welcomed was Ms. Maike Weiss, who presented the certificate of honour from the state of Baden-Württemberg for 40 and 50-year anniversaries on behalf of Mayor Ruf.
The management, represented by Mr. Günther, and Christiane Vogt from the works council, who presented a gift on behalf of the works council, also contributed to the festive character of the evening. Special mention was made of all those celebrating anniversaries as well as Renate Wanot, Christoph Wanot, Ursula Moser and Katharina Boos, who retired.
Record year for anniversaries
Head of HR Jürgen Kilgus emphasized in his speech that 2024 was an exceptional year for work anniversaries: a total of 13 employees were honored for an impressive 305 years of service – a record in the company’s history. This included five employees celebrating 10 years with the company, five celebrating 25 years and two celebrating 40 years (Ingrid Krämer and Karlheinz Kottler). Special mention was made of Jürgen Günther for his exceptional 50th anniversary – an achievement that marked the entire evening.
On this evening, all jubilarians were ceremoniously honored, accompanied by personal reviews of their careers at colordruck Baiersbronn, which were presented by the respective department heads. A delicious main course was followed by the farewells to the retirees and the honoring of Karlheinz Kottler on the occasion of his 40th anniversary with the company by HR Manager Jürgen Kilgus and of Jürgen Günther for his 50 years of loyalty to colordruck Baiersbronn by shareholder Melanie Grebien. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates of honor from the state of Baden-Württemberg to Karlheinz Kottler and Jürgen Günther by Deputy Mayor Maike Weiss.
The tribute was enriched by humorous and personal words from the managers. Special thanks went to the heads of department, who emphasized their appreciation for the employees celebrating anniversaries and retirees in a special way with their contributions.
The evening was all about gratitude and appreciation for the employees’ many years of loyalty and commitment. A successful celebration that impressively emphasized the central importance of each individual for the success of colordruck Baiersbronn.
