On September 24, 2024, the German Packaging Award ceremony took place at FACHPACK in Nuremberg – and we had the great honor of receiving one of the coveted awards in the “Product Presentation” category. Together with the fischer group of companies, we were honored for our innovative folding card for the DuoHM dowel. Our packaging solution not only impressed the jury with its appealing design and clear communication of the product function, but also with its sustainable choice of materials. The folding card is made entirely of mono-material and does not use any adhesive, which significantly improves its recyclability and enables environmentally friendly disposal.
The event, organized by the German Packaging Institute e.V. (dvi), provided a platform for numerous industry experts and innovators. Over 250 submissions from 13 countries were reviewed by an independent panel of experts this year, and only 41 solutions received the prestigious award in one of the ten categories. They received a certificate, trophy and much applause.
The award ceremony was opened by Peter Ottmann, CEO of NürnbergMesse. Oliver Berndt, Head of Events & Marketing at the dvi, thanked the partners of the German Packaging Award: the IGEPA group, FACHPACK and Mitsubishi Electric.
The winners were accompanied on stage by the beats of a DJane and received their certificate, the red trophy and recognition for outstanding achievements. These well-deserved moments were full of pride and joy.
