We were delighted to welcome Saskia Esken, who, together with the Federal Employment Agency, recognized our commitment to diversity and integration.
We are delighted that Saskia Esken, leader of the SPD party and member of the Bundestag, visited us at colordruck Baiersbronn. Together with Martina Lehmann, Chairwoman of the Management Board of the Nagold-Pforzheim Employment Agency, we discussed ways to overcome the shortage of skilled workers through successful integration.
Esken and Lehmann were impressed by our diversity: of the 311 employees at colordruck Baiersbronn, 73 come from 21 different countries. “This shows the diversity at our company, which is indispensable,” emphasized our Managing Director Martin Bruttel. The success story of Mohamad Sahloul, who joined us after fleeing Syria in 2015 and has since developed into a valuable employee, was particularly highlighted.
“It’s about raising public awareness that we need motivated employees like you here in the region, Mr. Sahloul, and companies that provide exemplary support like Colordruck,” praised Lehmann.
We are proud of our international colleagues and the positive effect that successful integration has on our company and the region. Special thanks go to Mohamad Sahloul, who shared his story and emphasized the importance of courage and determination in the integration process.
