Summer hasn’t even started yet and we at colordruck Baiersbronn are already thinking about Christmas, because we print, finish, process, pack and deliver Advent calendars five days a week in three shifts from May to October. During this time, our employees (m\/f\/d) in the PACKAGING SERVICE department work flat out to ensure that all calendars are on the shelves in time for the start of sales. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology and digital processes, up to 30,000 Advent calendars can be produced daily and carefully and fully automatically filled with delicious confectionery. The high-speed pick & place system from Schubert is used here, which is perfectly suited for multi-piece products. But also outside the Advent calendar season, our PACKAGING SERVICE takes care of all work steps, from planning to production to delivery of the finished product to the retailer.<\/p>\n<\/div>

PACKAGING SERVICE – that’s what it’s all about<\/h4><\/h3><\/div>

Our team of experts handles the entire fulfilment process and supports our customers throughout the packaging journey, from planning and production to logistics. We offer an exceptionally high degree of flexibility. We position products securely and in the desired configuration at the point of sale, whether for small or very large production runs. This is achieved through flexible manual work in our PACKAGING SERVICE Manufaktur division or fully automated industrial processes in our PACKAGING SERVICE Automation division. Calculating emissions and supporting climate protection projects<\/h3><\/div>

We are all aware of the challenges posed by climate change, which call for foresight from businesses. The greenhouse gas emissions associated with manufacturing your packaging can be calculated within a defined assessment scope. Automated product packing using our High-Speed Pick & Place system can also be included in this calculation.<\/p>\n

Based on the calculated emissions, you can support climate protection projects outside your own value chain by purchasing and retiring corresponding carbon credits.<\/p>\n<\/div>
