The digital identity<\/h3><\/div>

Unlike conventional barcodes, which are printed multiple times on all sides of the packaging, “Digimarc Barcodes” are an imperceptible digital identity that is applied over the entire packaging. These new barcodes make processes much simpler and faster, from production, logistics and storage, through the checkout and purchasing process, to the recycling of the packaging.<\/p>\n<\/div>

How to benefit from the digital watermark<\/h3><\/div>

The Digimarc barcode, a digital watermark, is invisible to the naked eye. Compared to the conventional barcodes, which must first be searched for at the checkout, the new barcodes are found more quickly because they are applied to the entire packaging and can therefore be scanned from all sides. This speeds up the checkout process.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the new technology, large amounts of information can be applied to product packaging. In addition to standard information such as price and nutritional values, the product manufacturer can, for example, place information on disposal, details on allergens or other information invisibly.<\/p>\n

In automated sorting centres, the Digimarcs can be used to optimise the sorting process. The product manufacturer thus contributes significantly to efficient waste disposal.<\/p>\n<\/div>
